Avionics

The Avionics/Instrument workshops are qualified to inspect, test, repair and overhaul both transport and general aviation equipment. First Air is a Transport Canada Approved Maintenance Organization AMO-27-74. Our extensive capabilities list is updated regularly. If a particular part is not listed, please contact us for an update.

The main workshop is located at the Ottawa International Airport in Ontario with a satellite shop in Yellowknife NWT. Both facilities have full battery shops.

First Air Avionics is the North American repair center for Airscrew Ltd, we have been factory trained to service their product line of aircraft fans. We also have a large inventory of Airscrew piece parts.

First Air Avionics is a member of the AIA (Aircraft Instrument Association), AEA (Aircraft Electronics Association) and CAMC (Canadian Aircraft Maintenance Council).

The Avionics shop is certified to repair and calibrate the following avionics parts.
