Special Fares
First Air offers the following special fares for passengers:
Youth Stand-By Fare
- Ages 12-24 years old
- ID will be required
Infants
- Infants travel free of charge if not occupying a seat
Child fare – 10% off the applicable rate
- Ages 2-11 years old
- Must be accompanied by an adult
Elder fare
- Ages 55 years or older
- 10% discount off the applicable fare
- Must be a northern resident
- ID will be required
Senior fare
- Ages 65 years of age or older
- 10% discount off the applicable fare
- ID will be required
Bereavement/Compassionate fare
- Applicable when travel is due to the death or the imminent death of an immediate family member
- Special fare is offered
- Passengers must provide a copy of the death certificate or Funeral Director’s statement or in the case of imminent death, a physicians statement on official letterhead prior to departure
- Must be return travel
- Maximum stay of 30 days
